Overhauled in December 2024 at our own workshop
The Air-King name has its roots in one of the many pet names given to the Oyster Perpetual and other watches in the 1950s, and it continued to evolve through the Ref. 5500, Ref. 14000, Ref. 114200, etc. The Air-King seemed to have died out in 2014, but in 2016, the name was adopted for a completely new Ref. It was adopted as the model name for the all-new Ref. 116900, which was succeeded by the current Ref. 126900.
Here is the Air King reborn in 2001 with the Cal. 3130.
The Air-King is still very popular today for its simplicity of design and the high level of practicality that only a Rolex Oyster can offer.
