The Cosmograph Daytona is the first automatic chronograph created by reviewing more than half of the parts of Zenith's El Primero.
It has been 56 years since Rolex introduced the world's first self-winding mechanism with a fully rotating rotor in 1931, which suggests that it was difficult to achieve the practical performance required by Rolex.
It should also be added that this generation supported Rolex's rapid growth from the late 1980s onward and became the starting point for the subsequent Daytona myth.

P30 number near the end of production
It has a slightly older type of bezel than the estimated production date of this watch and may have been replaced.
The crown mark on the safety catch of the clasp is a larger type, rather than the smaller type characteristic of the last period.
Overhauled by our craftsman in November 2022.
