Staff Comment

At the time when the world was excited about the first human landing on the moon, the Speedmaster that accompanied the landing was the center of attention in many ways.
This Speedmaster was manufactured at that time.
The bezel and crown have been replaced with later parts, but overall the watch retains a high degree of originality.
The precious caterpillar bracelet is Ref. 1039/FF 516 Clasp code is 70 years 4 period.
Overhauled at our own workshop in May 2023.

Bezel The bezel has been replaced with a bezel that appears to have been manufactured around the 1980s.

Windshield There are minor scratches on the plastic windshield.
Dial There is no noticeable damage other than ageing of the luminescence.
Hands The hands are generally well worn, and the white paint is peeling, but nothing that would detract from the atmosphere.
