Staff Comment

This is a "Red Sub" with the model name printed in red on the dial, which was produced only in the early days of the Submariner Date series. This is a Mark IV type, known among fans as the Mark IV, when the water resistance was just switched from "200m=660ft" to "660ft=200m".
It is regrettable that the luminous point on the bezel is missing, but there is no noticeable damage, luminescence dropout or chips, including the hands, and it is a well-balanced and well-colored piece with good atmosphere.
It has a rare caulking type Submariner bracelet, Ref. 9315/FF380 (without ear cord), which was rare at that time, but it has only 9 pieces and can be used by those whose wrist circumference is up to 16.5cm in actual size.
Overhauled at our own workshop in April 2024.

Case Polished to show some edge sleep, but otherwise in good condition with no other noticeable damage.
Bezel Luminous points are missing, but the bezel is moderately faded and atmospheric.
Belt Two comas are missing and there are some repair marks, but the belt is still in good condition considering the year of manufacture.
Buckle The buckle is slightly loose in engagement, but is in good enough condition for daily use.
Windshield There are some minor scratches on the plastic windshield.
Dial The dial has a very good texture.
Hands Slight corrosion, oxidation of the frame and burning of the luminescence, but they blend well with the dial.
