The Explorer II is designed for people who work in caves, polar regions, and other places where it is impossible to determine the time, and is structured around a 24-hour display of the time.
The fixed bezel has 24-hour indices, and the 24-hour hand extends to the outermost edge of the dial, allowing the wearer to check morning and afternoon at a glance.
The GMT-Master II movement also allows the short hand to be adjusted independently, making it possible to display dual time by using the 24-hour hand and the short hand.

The luminescence of each hour marker is partially peeling off, the luminescence of the long, short, and 24-hour hands has slight shrinkage and cracks due to age, and the second hand has marks where the luminescence has been corrected, but the ivory-colored white dial has a very nice atmosphere.
Overhauled at our workshop in April 2024.
