The year after the Aquanaut's first appearance in 1997, the 5066 model was redesigned with the same case size, but with the addition of a transparent back and a metal bracelet for strap options.
The dial retains its original specifications with tritium luminescence, but was overhauled by the manufacturer in 2017, at which time it was replaced with long and short hands with Super-LumiNova.
The bezel has a certain amount of scratches, including at the 2 o'clock position, but there are no major blemishes that would spoil the atmosphere, and the watch remains in good condition overall.
