Rolex, which has stoically maintained the 36mm case diameter, released the Datejust II in 2009 as the second model with a larger diameter following the Day Date 40 in 2008.
It is the only model in the history of the Datejust that does not have a jubilee bracelet, and has the thickest bezel of all previous models, making it unique in several ways.
