This is a special model with a meteorite dial.
At first glance, it appears to be a simple, classic three-counter chronograph, but in fact, the chronograph seconds counter at the center of the dial completes one revolution in 10 seconds, improving the legibility of the time measured up to 1/10th of a second and enhancing the merits of the traditional high-vibration chronograph at 36,000 vibrations per hour. The Chronomaster Sport is an ambitious work equipped with the El Primero 3600 caliber.
While the conventional Cal. 400 series chronographs were powered by a fourth wheel that made one revolution per minute, the El Primero 3600 is powered by a wheel coaxial to the escape wheel, which enables the chronograph to move six times faster than before.
It should also be added that, in response to the high-speed center chronograph seconds hand, the watch has an irregular three-counter system with a 60-second counter at 3 o'clock and a 60-minute counter at 6 o'clock, and that the power reserve has been extended from 50 hours to 60 hours by improving the efficiency of power transmission.
