Staff Comment

This Datejust was manufactured around the mid-1980s.
The dial shows light aging, mainly around the 10 o'clock position, but the polish marks are light and the watch is in good condition overall.
The bracelet is Ref. 62523H.18, FF is 455, clasp cord is K and is from the same production period as the watch itself, but is in good condition with almost no stretch.
Overhauled at our own workshop in June 2025.
This Datejust was introduced in 1977 with the Cal. 3035, a self-winding movement that was the first Rolex to be given a calendar fast-forward mechanism and a high-beat heart of 28,800 vibrations per hour.
The windshield is still made of plastic, but the dial is characterized by the fact that the steps around the periphery of the dial, which were used until the previous generation 1601, have been eliminated and the dial is now flat, giving it a modern look.
