Product Details

The Cosmograph Daytona is the first automatic chronograph created by reviewing more than half of the parts of Zenith's El Primero.
It has been 56 years since Rolex introduced the world's first self-winding mechanism with a fully rotating rotor in 1931, which suggests that it was difficult to achieve the practical performance required by Rolex.
It should also be added that this generation supported Rolex's rapid growth from the late 1980s onward and became the starting point for the subsequent myth of the Daytona.
