This is a rare model, only 90 pieces were sold in 2023 as an original model of TOMIYA, a long-established watch store in Okayama, founded in 1932.
The dial combining blue and asphalt finish is the most distinctive feature.
It is equipped with Cal. Heuer 02, an in-house movement with a long power reserve of 80 hours.
Jack Heuer, who became president of Heuer in 1962, a company renowned for its sports timekeeping through the production of excellent dashboard clocks and stopwatches, released a new generation of chronographs in 1963 in anticipation of the coming era of the wristwatch chronograph, which is now known as the TAG Heuer The Carrera, TAG Heuer's flagship, was born.
Named after the legendary Carrera Panamericana, the "most grueling race of all time," in which 27 people lost their lives in just five events, this collection is a masterpiece of Jack Heuer's passion for motor sports that has transcended time and fascinated people around the world.
