The Cellini is an iconic collection of dress watches from Rolex, which in recent years has retained its genes as the 1908.
While other Rolex watches have made it a virtue not to change their design, the Cellini watches, by daring not to adopt the Oyster case, have more directly embodied Rolex's idea of elegance, and have been more freely conceived, experimenting in many ways with the times.
This is a variation produced around 1990, with a round case of 33 mm in diameter and a beads-of-rice bracelet made of 18K yellow gold, the same material as the case, and featuring hooded lugs that give it a unique character.
The rounded, thin case, together with the supple bracelet, provides a good weight and comfortable fit.
Although the watch is believed to be over 30 years old, it is in very good condition.
