Product Details

The GMT-Master was created in 1955 for pilots of international flights.
This is the fourth generation Ref. 16700, which replaced its predecessor Ref. 16750 in 1988.
The movement was changed to the next generation Cal. 3175, which improved the accuracy stability, and the plastic windshield was replaced by sapphire crystal, which improved the water resistance to 100 meters.
In 2000, production of the Ref. 16700 was discontinued, and the GMT-Master was replaced only by the GMT-Master II with the addition of a single correction function for the short hand.
