Product Details

Seiko launched the world's first quartz wristwatch, the Astron, on Christmas Day in 1969.
This momentous event in watchmaking history is said to have accelerated the evolution of quartz watches and led to the quartz revolution that eventually put many traditional watchmakers in a difficult position.
In 2012, the legendary Astron made a sudden comeback as a GPS solar-powered watch.
GPS solar watches are capable of generating electricity from light as long as there is a blue sky, receiving signals from satellites, and displaying the exact position and time.
There is no doubt that this is one of the most functional watches in the history of watchmaking.
