Description

Inspired by a large water-resistant watch ordered from Louis Cartier in the early 1930s by Tami El Glaoui, Pasha of Marrakech (a high-ranking title in the Ottoman political and military system), the modern Pasha collection was launched in 1985. The Pasha collection began in 1985, inspired by a large water-resistant watch ordered by Tami El Graoui from Louis Cartier. Cartier, which had enjoyed success with the Mast Tank and Santos watches, continued to do well with the Pasha line. Ten years later, the launch of the Pasha C, with a reduced case diameter of 35 mm, succeeded in attracting women as well as men, creating a huge boom in the watch market. The Pasha C, with its simple yet instantly recognizable style, is timeless and full of timeless appeal.
